Ring in the New Year at AfriCaribbean Festival in Sierra Leone

The 2024-2025 AfriCaribbean Festival is a week-long Caribbean experience held December 27, 2024 through January 3, 2025 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This annual festival provides a bridge to connect people from all over the diaspora through a fusion of African and Caribbean celebrations including a pool party, Africana Ball, beach J’ouvert a chance to hit the road for a Caribbean carnival experience and a New Year’s concert. This year will be the 3rd annual AfriCaribbean Festival and the event is successfully connecting continents, cultures, and communities. Patrons also have an opportunity to explore Freetown, Sierra Leone and surrounding attractions and historical sites inluding Tiwai Island, the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Outamba Kilimi National Park.
