Discover Orchestra Noir: A Unique Fusion of Classical and Contemporary Music

Experience the Y2K Meets '90s Tour by Orchestra Noir In a City Near You

What is Orchestra Noir? It’s your chance to see an orchestral performance conducted by a maestro in Timbs. Founded in Atlanta, G.A. in 2016, this international troupe celebrates the vast contributions of African-Americans to music in style. Orchestra Noir received the ‘Best of Atlanta: Classical Meets Contemporary’ award from Atlanta Magazine in 2018 and is currently touring the for the ‘Y2K Meets ‘90s Tour.’ Under the tutelage of Maestro Jason Ikeem Rodgers the tour perfectly blends generations with live, acoustic performances of songs by artists including Toni Braxton, Shawty Lo, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Jon.

Tiffany Jones, a certified music lover said that the performance in Raleigh, N.C. Was nothing short of amazing. “Every note, every beat, was delivered with such finesse and passion that it left me absolutely spellbound, Jones stated. “This wasn’t just music; it was an experience, a celebration of talent that you simply can’t miss.” She also shared a clip of Orchestra Noir performing “They Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar’s summertime hit, on August 31.

Orchestra Noir also gives back to the youth by educating and inspiring young, minority musicians. Recently, they offered a three-day residency in Montgomery, Ala. exposing underserved young musicians to the benefits of becoming professional musicians.
