Monica Joins a List of Artists Who Say They Haven’t Been Booked for Lovers and Friends Vegas Festival
Hopefully Monica, Juvenile, The Dream and others will sort things out with Lovers and Friends 2024 to perform

The Lovers and Friends 2024 festival line up was so chock-full of performers that I couldn’t figure out how it was possible to get everyone on stage. Recently Juvenile, The Dream and Mase went to their social media accounts to state that they hadn’t been booked for Usher’s annual festival in Vegas and now Monica is entering the chat.
While being interviewed by Billboard correspondent Tetris Kelly, she stated that she’s willing to perform, but the festival planners need to go through the proper channels.“Well, I’m looking forward to the festival,” she said. “I’m thinking that maybe someone will call me and actually book me the correct way.” To which Kelly smiled and said, “Oh Lord. Lovers and Friends can y’all call Monica please?”
She performed at the 2022 Lovers and Friends Fest and said that she’d be happy to work with them again. Maybe the flier is a way of manifesting Monica onto the stage. She ended the interview saying, “Hey, you put me on the flier…It just seems like maybe someone wants me there so give me a call.”
Let’s hope everything is sorted out so she can bless the stage with some of her classics and MAYBE some new music that she hinted at during a convo with Tetris Kelly at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy red carpet. They also discussed her feature on Nicki Minaj’s latest album and priorities for her new album.
