Breaking Boundaries on the Slopes: Soft Life Ski Celebrates Afro-Caribbean Culture

Soft Life Ski: A Winter Wonderland for Afro-Caribbean Skiers

Soft Life Ski created a festival that celebrates Black skiers and they’re taking over the slopes of Switzerland March 30 - April 4, 2025. The event was created by a group of Afro-Caribbean friends in London who enjoy extreme sports and traveling together. The crew had traditionally spent their vacations soaking up the sun but decided to go skiing instead and found a new love in the snow.

Soft Life Ski’s mission is to increase inclusivity and diversity in skiing and snowboarding and the festival offers Black skiers six days of music, winter sports and community for all from the African diaspora at Laax Resort, a four—star ski.

Ticket prices haven’t been announced they but check out the Soft Life Ski site for more details about this event and learn more the organization.
