One MusicFest Hosts TwoGether in Texas  on Memorial Day Weekend

Uniting Music, Culture, and Diversity in Dallas

TwoGether Land, the latest addition to Atlanta’s renowned ONE Musicfest brand, will ignite the Dallas scene this Memorial Day weekend. One of Atlanta’s premier music festivals, ONE Musicfest, has added TwoGether Land to the brand and will be taking over Dallas, TX at Fair Park on On May 25th and 26th.

TwoGether Land promises to highlight the culture of the Texas region and feature Texas performers and creatives in addition to some of the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B and Latin performers. "From day one, our motto has been unity through music. It's not just about the melodies; it's about bringing people together," says Jason Carter, founder of ONE Musicfest. "TwoGether Land is more than a festival; it's a celebration of diversity, culture, and the unique spirit of the Southwest."

ONE MusicFest is entering its 15th year of business and has an average of 50,000 people are in attendance each year. OMF, a Black-owned festival, is the Southeast’s largest two-day urban music festival and for good reason. I attended ONE Musicfest (OMF) in 2021 and 2022 and it is one of my favorite festivals every year. Usually hosted in October, the ATL weather is fantastic and between the two that I attended I’ve seen THEE Lauryn Hill, Kirk Franklin,  H.E.R., Masego, T.I., Big Boi, Jagged Edge, Lil Duval and Big KRIT perform. The vibes are just as good as the weather and in addition to top-tier performers, HBCU bands performed and vendors from all over the US were in attendance.

Before expanding, OMF scouted numerous markets throughout the country, but selected Dallas because of its rich history and diverse culture. Mayor Eric Johnson is looking forward to the energy and positive economic benefits that an event of this magnitude will bring to the area. "As the mayor of Dallas and as a huge music fan, I am thrilled to welcome this exciting two-day festival of live performances, art, food, and fun to Fair Park. Dallas is an ideal city for events like TwoGether Land presented by ONE Musicfest, and I hope to see it become a staple in our culture scene for years to come," says Mayor Johnson.
